About how much HP would you say is safe to have it hold before getting close to to much? Stock cam's, risers, piston's, rods. Thanks?
Are you implying that it be turbocharged? If so, I have seen stock b18c1's with good kits make 250-300 whp safely on stock internals but with upgraded fuel system and engine management + tuning.
How does that help really? He's asking how much power a boosted GS-R can safely make, not how much it makes from the factory...
yeah, he was a pretty frequent poster too. i think his sn was 10seceg or something like that. had a killer build thread.
Interesting...do you remember what he tuned with? I mean I'm assuming he tuned it damn well with numbers like that on a stock engine...
I guess this guy could build a badass car. http://hondaswap.com/forced-induction/well-here-72359/ http://hondaswap.com/forced-induction/new-setup-75016/ here's his sig. 9.70@149-built bottom w/stock head 1.53 60' first honda to break 10's in tucson and 9's aem ems powered tuned by me 508whp 361tq@17psi<-------stock block 678hp and 468tq @ 24psi<-----built block
290-300whp as for the 500 @ 17psi on a stock bottom end, thats complete bullshit. its plain not physically possible with those rods. and also, thats an extremely low boost level for that hp rating. not possible. if it was, everyone and their mom would be rockin 500whp tegs. i mean, come on. try to be somewhat realistic
did you even read the other threads? and if you don't think you can get that much power out of that amount of boost, you must not have very big turbos or much experience. yes, we all understand that he is a freak. yes, the block blew, but the point was, you can do it and actually have it last for quite a while.
