why are you getting a special cutter for that cast iron?
are you planning to salvage what doesn't leak or what?

Why not use a sawsall? I just cut a pipe exactly like that one. used 3 blades but got through it. I own a sawsall, so I was out something like $6-8 for the blades. But it worked.
Who lives there again ?
EDIT: AND MORE WORK TO THE GARAGE
Do NOT disappoint us
so did you even get to use your fancy cutter? An update though, We took a giant hammer to it and busted out the bottom section of the pipe. It's broken, and out. Now for some reason my dad wants to replace the entire T section from where the tub/toilet/sink go into it. *sigh*
I can't see the pictures (The ONLY thing my work blocks is photobucket. Everything else, including porn sites, are fine. But woe to thee if you look at photobucket pictures!), but I'm going through a similar job at home now, too. A cold water feed broke in between the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, and soaked the drywall enough that the downstairs bathroom ceiling turned to mush and came down. The pipe was actually an easy fix, but now I've got 3 walls and a ceiling to re-drywall.
