    well i have a music class that i constantly have to listen to music for. well the music is only available in 2 options. 1. go to the library and have them record them to cassette. 2. stream the music offline from the int4rweb.

    well both options suck. their cassette recorder is a piece of shit and half the songs on the tapes dont even work, and they insist its my tape players fault. and streaming the music offline sucks too, they are always glitchy.

    im looking for someway to get these music files on my computer in mp3 form, or in a form that i can convert to mp3. what i really would like to do is put them on a small mp3 player so i can listen to them right before my test :)

    so is there a way to do this?

    ive also looked on the internet to see if there was a place i could just straight download these songs but that doesnt seem to work either cause NO ONE has these songs/peices.

    http://iptv.lib.wvu.edu/iptvguide/index.html
    click On Demand Programs
    click Course Reserve Music
    click Music 170 (Introduction to Music)

    i need the songs contained in Listening assignment #10 and Leftover Tape.

    ive tried a few of these audio rippers and they work, but only let you record like 30-60 secs of audio or you have to buy it :cry2: Fuck paying 30 bucks.

    here we go.

    http://iptv.lib.wvu.edu/servlet/Guide?PLAYSDF=1024057077

    replace the number with the link hover number as above...

    this will only save it to your hard drive though as application/x-sdf not as audio/x-mp3 as you want :p

    so...........

    save that to your desktop or something... the sdf is simply a text file like a CSV.

    open it in note pad-- it looks osmething like this:

    Code:
    v=0
    o=- 1024057077 2 IN IP4 157.182.232.10
    s=I.D. ''Slang''
    i=I.D. ''Slang,'' performed by the Brecker Brothers
    e=t <t>
    p=t
    b=AS:192
    t=0 0
    a=range:npt=0-408.0
    a=x-iptv-type:ondemand
    a=control:rtsp://157.182.232.10/ProgID=1024057077
    a=cat:65536.1023988046.1023988160.1023995412
    a=x-iptv-file:0 name Chris Wilkinson/Music 170 (Introduction to Music)/I.D. ''Slang,'' performed by the Brecker Brothers.mp2
    m=audio 0 RTP/AVP 14
    c=IN IP4 0.0.0.0
    b=AS:192
    a=control:rtsp://157.182.232.10/ProgID=1024057077/audio
    a=x-iptv-svr:audio 157.182.232.10 file 0

    i'm still working on figuring out the rest... but i'll get it... cuz i R l33t :p

    haha, looks like you're having fun with this B :)

    if you can find a way to rip the actual music file out of there somehow that would be awesome :)

    the mp2 is in there somewhere... but its still rtsp, *real time streaming protocol) so it will still stream-- but it will stream right into your temp folder :)

    well non of these streaming programs are 100% free. so i said fuck trying to find a keygen or s/n (non worked anyway) and i just took 1 min samples and spliced them together to make the entire song. it sucked, and took a while but it worked, thats all that mattered, lol.
