the back and forth jumping, to me, sounds like either a misfire or a stretched out timing belt...well, it was at 70 btdc.. not sure how it got that high.. i reset it at 16btdc and it runs the same... if it where a tooth off would it make the mark on the crank pulley jump back and forth about 1/4 inch
Should be right now.well i reset it this morning... i did it w/ the dial set at 0 and set it at (red) 18btdc because its the only other mark my eyes could see and it seemed too far off to be set at 16btdc
once the car cools i'm gonna check the cap and rotor. . that shit is hot right now.. lol
