AEM intake is what you should get. the cold air one. the best IMO

You know best. You are my inside Honda source mang. :p

Brian= the shit :spin:

 Why not? I think it's true mang, which is why I'm cuttin you an awesome deal on my Escort. ;)

What I know about Hondas is what the Pimp masta' here told me. B)

i really like the new v2 intake from aem...

they claim it's even better than the good ole CAI

Ok, so far I'm going to start saving up for:

1.) An AEM Cold air intake ($224 dollars built especially for the B16a2, unless I can find the stuff to make my own for cheap)

2.) A short shifter...TPP said neuspeed, dunno though. Any other suggestions?

3.) An autometer shift light (no 10" tach, just the light).

Check out my page & tell me what you think:

Edit: page two :owned:

I have a Neuspeed short shifter and it works great. Sometimes it is hard to put into reverse, but other than that it works great.

comptech ice box > aem

skunk2 > neuspeed

what the fuck for? so you can go blind? RICER

Neuspeed's Short Shifter isnt that bad...however the Skunk2 is the bomb :)

Yeah, you dont need a light...you'll learn to shift by the noise of the engine...unless you supercharge it then you'll be hitting the rev limiter like whoa like me :)

Why am I a ricer? because I want to rev my car and keep my eyes on the road at the same time?

I don't see how that is rice because I don't THINK it makes my car fast just by installing it.

A shift light is okay, for learning when to shift your car, it helps you learn how your car drives, keep it afterwards, but I am not a fan of them. I just read the tach, I feel when to shift now too, I usually look down when my car is at about 6500 RPM shift at 6800 RPM, so I got the timing almost perfect.

Learn how to drive. As was stated listen to the engine. It is not that hard to look down at your tach and drive. Get used to the car for a little and where your shift points are.

That was rather rude. I know how to drive. and do you listen to your engine 100% of the time...I have a radio.

I can get used to the shift points, but a shift light will be helpful.

skip the shift light...really only necessary if you are making serious power and hitting redline almost as soon as you floor the throttle in 1st and 2nd :)

and get a toothbrush and scrape the 4 inches of wax buildup off the side moldings

I was stating the truth and it was not rude. Actually I do listen to my engine, my engine gets loud near redline so I can hear it over my radio.

well I tend to want to listen to the radio more than the engine, and telling someone to "learn how to drive" is rude.

Anyway, if I had my way with the side moldings, they wouldn't even be on the damn car anymore.

the car stops pulling at 7800 anyway. you have 400 rpms to shift.

:werd: :withstupid:

this may sound cliche... but learn how your motor sounds and use that to shift rather than a light... but thats me

B)

well, it's still new to me. so I can't tell where it "stops pulling" because it feels like it pulls all the way to redline to me.
