I'm thinking of getting the i710...It's buy one get one free after rebates, and that's the only bad thing about phones when you work at Nextel...Hardly a discount, they would make me pay like 225 for the i730. That's why I have my own account and will just do a 2 year contract price and get the phone for like 89.99 :)
 
GPS is a kinda funny thing... Around my area (New England) I know every highway and biway there is. Travelling abroad it's easy to use a map, and when I was in the mountains I used it (Old style, got the Lat and Long and looked at a map) and after I knew where I was , it was like "Um... ok.. I don't feel anybetter"

GPS tells you where you are, but it doesn't affect where you're going.

That's true. Gps will tell you the Latitude and Longitude, but it's not going to direct you where to go.
 
Map and compass worked fine for decades, people are so fucking lazy and dependent on technology.
