Well the whole 5 state area aroung IL. I'd avoid.. personally after being around snow for 13 years then no snow here on the gulf coast for 15 years, I Still dont want to see any damn snow Most all my family's in indiana and kentucky, i was born and raised south of chicago.. no offence to anyone from anywhere I'm mildly dissing on, but damn you got some haters all around that area, from newyour to the central diving line of america all around the center theres alot of high ego strung mean cold bastards.. not saying everyone is.. but no "Southern hospitality.... I Live in mississippi now, theres alot of casino jobs.. anything worth working good jobs in the tri state area down here where you'd be far enough from the water it wouldnt be so humid.. Jackson, MS Hattiesburg, MS. Birmingham, MS, Montgomery, AL. Slidel, LA. Baton Rouge, LA. New Orleans, would back near the gulf.. Katrina damage is pretty much in the good now.. Jousing on the coast is still up ( I was a Licensed realestate agent till the great market depression here lol) Florida If Fu(I<in Awesome though, Half their cities are excelent as of to so many other stated having 2 3 maybe 4 big cities.. I lived in hawaii for a year with my brother, Good luck finding a job if u go there, no love for mainlanders.. yeah denver is way high it'd take a year for your blood to thicken up for the cold and altitude, feel like you cant breathe.. screw that, Yeah like you said about NE. VA, MA, MN, VT, RI, All that area is ridiculas on housing, $300,000 will get you a damn studio apartment/condo.. you can do that in hawaii and why the hell would you wanna spend that there when you could live in hawaii for that... Not to mention they have gay NO drinking alcohol outside amd no smoking inside the bars and clubs.. People have alittle more courtesy there but not worth it atall.. I'd stick to the lower half of the whole U.S. Check out North and south carolina, GA. TN, and definatly FL.
