    is it possible to turn boost down to around 1-2 psi. i dont have a trailor to take my car to get it tuned so i was wondering if i could turn it down and drive it there.

    yes, you can turn the boost down if you have a boost controller. keep the revs low and drive it easy, it should be ok.

    Here is what you do. Disconnect your ic piping. Best to do it at the intake. Then drive where you have to go and hook it back up when you get there. That is much safer than just turning down the boost

    stay under 3000 rpms and you will be fine

    Boost controllers only allow for one to increase, not decrease. The minimum setting will depend on the spring in the wastegate.
    Decent idea, if you do not have a way to trailer it there.
    Wtf good is this going to do?
    Best idea on here. Get a car trailer for the day and tow it there. This is the safest way.

    AGREED. trailer is the best way. if you can afford turbo, tune and all that shit you should beable to afford 45$ for a tow truck. or....... just unhook the ol' ic piping

    lol, you reading what he is writing? There is no tow truck on planet earth that will tow a car 1.5 hours for $45. You're looking at more like $300-400.

    Go to U-haul and snag a car dolly. $30 a day or something.

    i said tow truck before he said hour and a half away. get a dolly, hook it up, and be on your way.

    thanks guys. i think im going to rent a car dolly. hope to tune by friday if all goes well. whick it never does :s
