If the tranny is out of the car, look through the axle holes. If you can see straight through with no obstructions, then it is limited slip.
If it is in the car, then jack up the front end so both tires are off of the ground. Turn one wheel. If they both turn the same direction, it's limited slip. If the tires turn opposite of one another, it's not.
