woah woah, if you're going to consider McCain "Bush III", you've got something to learn.
As for the generalization, yeah, maybe, but it puts our current tax situation in perspective for the not so mathematically inclined to understand it.
Here's one major thing to consider. The president has many responsibilities and powers, but only one power he has can go unchecked, and that's as the Commander In Chief. Every other aspect of the presidency has checks and balances to keep him under control (lucky you, democrats, with control of the house that shouldn't be hard). But when you consider that the president has the power to control our armed forces without consulting the senate or house, then that tosses out a probing question. Do you really want a Jr. Senator from Illinois holding that responsibility? or would you rather have a man that has not only served this country, but knows the armed forces probably better than most?
My vote's with McCain on that one.
