uh dude, that is a total liability lawsuit. if you can prove that it was their straps, they are liable for any loss/damage. if you want a new ipod, just tell them.

Caz, don't use big words you don't understand.

For the record, as a resident its your legal duty to maintain the sidewalk that falls on your property. If I wanted to push the issue, I could have easily sued with the only catch being the burden of proof being that my neighbors did not properly maintain the sidewalk, within reason.
