I don't think that was nitrous oxide exploding. Maybe Nitro Fuel, but a spectacular explosion nonetheless. It took forever for those guys to get there with the extinguishers.
 
Yea, it's got to be fuel, n2o isn't flammable,, and whatever it is is coming out right under the blower.
 
i think that fuel was from a busted fuel hose or something...maybe a fuel hose went and the fuel pump was still pumping.
 
n20 is flamable... to an extent.. more so, its the fact that its under pressure in the bottle than the gas itself though.
 
yeah anyone remember the pic of the guy who left his bottle warmer on with is car in his garage?

blew a whole in the side of his garage and totalled his nissan

At 565 degrees :) where it splits into oxygen and nitrogen and then the o2 can burn. But yea a canister under pressure can blow, but that is definitely a spray.
