the problem is not "passing the test, its the extensive visual inspection and extra tests they run to make sure your car is "legal" Trust me, like I said I've been through it before. Put it this way, when you call to make an appointment for the ref, the write you in for a 3 hour chunk of time. A little longer than a 2o min. Smog test. that way they have all the time they need to find the smallest thing to fail you. I'm not saying that the refs are against us. Its just their ass on the line if shit does go wrong. They are basiclly giving your car approval for use on public roads.
