oh my god the trenches!

i filled the trenches on my 93 mirage with bondo. terrible idea. ended up grinding them out / flat with a flapwheel. trim pins and all.

they were done in the 80s and never created any cracks etc worked fine

okkk sooo I just spent alotttt of $$$ getting 79 stuff , everything from full wiring harness for pgmfi , gauges, clutch, header, intake, seats/rails, to entire fuel system, and every body/glass seal on the car

they were welded so, they shouldnt crack.

yea I never knew the channels were there until I saw a other first gen in person, they were done right for sure, I still cant believe I just spent all that at once ... lol and shops paid $4500 cash down to start working , I paid income tax today and ended up paying almost literally half expecting , im glad to be able to make all this happen

body shop plans to have the paint stripped off this week and getting it right and ready for paint, im coming in on weekends to strip interior/prep for wiring + new fuel system , going this weekend to pick up a trans and a mintyyyyyy dash and center console

Paint will be stripped off this weekend and we are yanking the motor/trans out saturday

it got bought for $1000 with a blown up diff and warped frame for the LS1 and trans, the vinyl wrap looks like shit and personally say it's Wrigley's gum wrappers
