Whats with the blacked out person in the photo? I mean the license plates i get but whos the big secret :p
 
Its hard to see on the passengers side, but the entire side is scraped up. It is scuffed up from about the dor handle down. The third pic shows some of the reckage, including the guys trunk. The rear axle did get fucked up so the rear wheels are crooked. The driveshaft is hanging down.

i can't beleive that you thought that it might not be totaled. that thing is fucked and will never see the road again dude.

Well, I had a salesman show pics to his gmc bodyshop and they were borderline if it would be totalled. I am hoping it is, even if they fixed it I am getting rid of the truck.

The person blacked out is my mom, I know she wouldn't want her face on the net.

Mike about the quadrasteer. When the towtrucker called me he was like it looks like everything for your rear steering is messed up. I was like I don't have rear steering. He pretty much said that truck is fucked then.

:lol: :lol: man it keeps geting better, im truly sorry but thats just funny i just now looked at the back tires after reading that lol.

Well...... new truck for you. Maybe this time you will get that quadra steer without out having to kill an escort.
 
These pics don't do it justice. I went to get my plates today and my truck is being slammed on the ground by a fucking forklift at the junkyard. Its at a junkyard and the insurance company hasn't looked at it. I was ripped, incase they decieded to fix it. I had a chance today to look at the frame and the bar that connects the front end of the frame is bent, the passengers side frame is kinked, the bumper supports are ripped off of the frame, and everything where the radiator is pushed into the engine.

Good news is that I test drove a Sierra Pro Sport. I love the truck but it has too many feautres I don't need or want. Why should I pay an extra 4-5 grand for shit I don't want. Well hopefully the settlement goes in my favor.
 
My question was kind of stupid... agian I hope you get what you want.
 
I hope its totalled but until I hear for sure I won't say. I know I definetly do not want it back.
 
Basically I am probably going to need about 20 grand in damage, unless there is a lot of stuff that can't safely be fixed.
 
A vehicle is a total loss if the estimate of the damage is equal to or more than 70% of the vehicle's actual cash value.

It's also a total when the frame is as effed up as yours is.

DEMAND they total the vehicle or ask for a written waiver of liabliity for all future claims if they insist on fixing it.
