While Cali is a big PITA for automakers as far as BAR/CARB, etc... it's also the largest market in the US for the automakers.

They couldn't just stop doing business there, it'd hurt more than it helps.

Your not going to have to do that, one day Cali is just going to look around and realize that the rest of the world is bad for it self. Then Cali is going to ban us, and ship its self to Mars or something.

As far as them looking into banning black paint. Seriously, this is starting to become a eco dictator. I'm so glade I live in florida, over here their just worried about tobacco, and if your using lead base paint.
