noob here

hey guys,im a noob here and this is my first post, just introducing myself,names Brandon and im 16.i have a project.i currently have a 89 civic hatch with a wide bodykit and i have a D16A1 DOHC out of a 88 integra and the engine is completely torn apart.

what are you doing about mounts?

i have not yet decided..i was going to ask around here on opinions....cause the hatch has mounts in it but im not sure if the guy before me put the ones in that fit.. i have to get teh ones off the 88 integra right?

since the motor is ripped down, when you took the side timing cover off did you notice a set of mounting holes in the block below the cam gear?

why are you going with a D16A1?

ok the deal is the guy i got this from already had EVERYTHING tore apart already.came with new turbo, intercooler etc. and only reason of using the D16A1 is because this is a cheap project car(2500)and he is paying for my new gaskets and other minor stuff he didnt have at the time.so i figure 2500 for a D16A1 with only 80k on engine and 60k on the tranny w/turbo and acc. is cheap as dirt.

i only have one side of it done and friday i m starting the other side(gas tank side) i need to compensate for the door. but i will post pics of whole thing will have to be either tomorow or friday due to only being able to do it in school(dial-up at home)

what sort of turbo and intercooler came with it? new or used?

the turbo and intercooler are completley new.like just moved out of the box new.and i find it a good deal being that im in autoclass in high school and we have the best auto class in the state(hot tank,valve grinders,brand new brake lathe,full line of snap-on,etc.)and i can use it for free. plus i have a well paying job.
