Recently replaced the timing belt on my D15B7 and also did the head gasket since it was blown. I just want to clarify that when I put the timing belt on that the TDC mark on the crankshaft pulley is supposed to point at the mark on the timing belt cover and the cam marks should be "UP" and the 3 and 9 o'clock marks aligned with the top of the cylinder head. This is how I reinstalled it. I have my distributor turned all the way clockwise and when I checked the ignition timing with my light I am right on the TDC mark. How do I get my ignition timing back to 16 degrees BTDC. Do I need to take the timing belt off and readjust it on the crankshaft pulley? Any help is greatly appreciated as I can barely make it up hills now without putting it in 1st gear and am super slow to get up to speed from a standing start.... Thanks in advance...
