Back in the Game
Alright so I hit the point where I need to cut my losses with my civic. I fried the piston rings in th stock y7, dropped in a y8 only to find out the oil pan had a crack after I started to develop a knock. So I have decided rather than keep paying payments on a car that is doing nothing but costing my tons of cash..I am going to buy myself something else and cut my losses. First I am gonna fix the civic and sell it pay off my loan and find something I can pay in full right away. I also have a guy interested in my trans am which will help me on the money issues. I can consolidate my debt so to speak by selling my two cars and buying one car and making sure it is reliable. I have a couple cars I have been lookin at so far what do you guys think?
First car is a 91 integra with the b18 new rebuild with something like 30,000 on the motor, coilovers, intake, optima battery, and cat back exhaust. Has some body damage on the driver's door, and fender.
Second is an 88 rex with an ls swap, rims, and body kit. This car is cheap as hell at only $1200 but needs a ton of body work both doors would likely need to be replaced, as well as the passenger side fender. However I have always wanted a crx, and this gives me the best of both worlds, a decent project car with lots of potential and a motor with very low miles.
Third is 90 accord 2 door, no body damage but 181,000 miles on the odometer.$2000 no body damage or mechanical problems. stock.
Fourth is an 89 crx with 234,000 miles on the motor but the tranny was just replaced, has all service records and its said to run great. only $1600. This may actually be the best plan for me because with my Trans Am being close to being sold I can buy this car and I already have the assets to do a y8 mini me in my civic. Which could be a decent setup in this car.
