picked up a new video camera

i picked this video camera up today at Best Buy to try my hand and doing video footage at shows:

for the price its not bad and it has things i was looking for like a longer battery life (4hrs and 20 minutes), a good long zoom, stability...etc. anyways, i cant wait to mess with it and see what i can do.

The girlfriend and I just picked up a JVC camcorder a few months ago as well. That is a pretty sweet deal. That's around what we paid as well. I haven't tested out the direct to YouTube upload deal yet though.
