so far ive ported the intake plenum to 55mm to accept a 2g 4g63t throttlebody, and ported the runners at the head. also equipped with a 1g CRX Si SRI and evolution filter. sucks loud at all rpms.

ive got some turbo parts, 14b turbo, 1g turbo talon BOV (for now), and manifold that doesnt fit my car... as well as all the oil lines and such. basically of the essentials i need a fmu, vafc, and a fuel pump.

sitting here are my eibach pro kit springs, and on the way are my kyb agx shocks. soon to order are front and rear strut bars, and 2 azenis for my rims that noone wants to buy.

looks swizeet...I like the steelies...but that dent and those amber corners gotta go. :)

I'm with JDM, what kinda boost with the engine handle?

12psi if running near new compression. ill run 11 daily. i want to get it dyno tuned for "set and forget". just use the gauges and vafc to tell me whats going on. i dont want to turn the boost up or down, well except for winter. i dont want to change anything either once its set up. ill probably run a starion intercooler or one of the smic's that clay has lying around. im waiting for speed designs to finish the 1.5L turbo manifold so i can buy it.

wow 12 psi on the stock engine? that's pretty damn good! I know Escort 1.8s will handle 12-14 on stock internals too.

Whats the engine specs? (seriously! I'm always up to learn about a different type of car) :)

yea, half of the bottom clear in the tails was amber. i pulled them apart with a hair dryer to get that out. i cant get clears for my car unless they are lancer ones... and the coupe corners are hella expensive and have to be imported from austrailia. its wierd. australia is the only country with a coupe lancer evo.

the steelies will be replaced with the rims i had on my civic, unless they are bought. i have a different set of rims in mind for this car. its still a 4x100 bolt pattern, just the offset is greater by 1. no real difference.

has potential for a sleeper, nice and keep up the good work.

props for doing your own work

airjockie is my real mechanic. i handle some of the stuff, like the manifold and the sri... im currently in the middle of installing an evolution hyperground kit, but it got too cold. id show off my audio install but its not that great...

Alpine 7894 deck
Concept 450W 2-channel amp
2 10' sony xplod pentagon subs
2 6' pioneer premier fronts
2 6x9 pioneer premier rears

the rear is deadly low... thanks for fixing the dent, though.

the side emblem is a spot for a jetta sidemarker... but im currently bidding on a set of front and rear evo3 ones.

btw, the car looks like ass without the wing. did you notice the trunk/wing was black?

well that's when you flip ya switches and PSSSSSSSHHHHT pop the ass end up, y0!

im all set. id like my car to stay lightweight and easy cornered. stiff lowering springs and adjustable shocks will do nicely for autocross.

safc or vafc? didn't know a vafc would work on a DSM. :hmm:

i was gonna have clayton do it, but i ran into a guy thru the hyundai scoupe that swapped manifolds with me so i could get them ported at work. both manifolds were ported and all i bought kevin at work was a 12 pack of beer i got for free at my local liquor store. didnt take him long at all.

my bad. i get em mixed up. :shrug2:

it's all good, so are you droppin in a 4G63? or are you turboing your stock motor?
theres a Colt in my area with a 4G63 thats supposedly pretty quick. I've only seen it a couple times. i was driving one night and he was besides me. I kept hearing him blowing off but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, until he got infront of me and I saw the TURBO sticker he had on the back of his car. crazy stuff but an excellent sleeper.
