I'm not sure if this is in the correct spot if it isn't please let me know :).

Well I decided to give Honda a shot after being with Toyota for a few years. About 2 months ago I bought an ex 95' eg coupe. I have already added a few mods such as stage 3 clutch, small exhaust, headers, intake, etc. But before I drop a DOHC in it, I want to go SOHC turbo!. I have seen a few posts about d16 turbo but just wanted to know exactly what parts I need. Such as if I need new pistons, rod, etc. Also, I'm planning to boost only 6-8 psi. If anyone can let me know links on where to buy these parts that will be great. Also, any tips/ advice for my build or anyone that lives around the Orlando area LET ME KNOW. If you need any additional info let me know and I will respond ASAP

Once again thanks for the help!! :thankyousigna2:

You need to choose a power goal, not a PSI level.

You can get away with under 200whp on the stock stuff. After that you'll need at least pistons and rods, and maybe even sleeves depending on the power goal.

Headstuds and a decent headgasket are always recommended no matter the power goal.

you can even push over 200whp as long as your stock internals are new though

Why the hell do you have a Stage 3 clutch on a bone-stock, naturally-aspirated D16? That's complete overkill. And, if you plan on dropping in a dual-cam engine in the future, then why mess with boosting your single-cam? Just put your money towards the swap, and then boost that...

:werd:The biggest mistake I made with my old d16 was throwin on a stage 3 clutch. It ripped the sht out of tranny and made my front input shaft bearing go out. It was pretty badass tho while it lasted, thing gripped like crazy! :burnout:
