The car started out as a 1990 Civic DX (DPFI & automatic too!). I've swapped out the drivetrain for a '96 B18b, a YS1 from a 92 Teg and I'm using an obd0 PR4/dizzy.The problem is that I can't get any spark or fuel. I've wired everything up correctly (I've check many times now!)
I've wired two of the four injectors (OBD2 style, no resistor box) up to the old harness and ran two new wires for the other two. They are all grounded into the two YEL/BLK wires that were previously used for the 2 DPFI injectors. The fuel pump doesn't turn on unless I run a separate wire from A15 to the two DPFI injector ground wires and then I get a constantly powered fuel pump instead of the two second priming when the key is in the on position. Even then I still have no spark.

Just for clarification, since I'm using 96+ (obd2) injectors I do NOT wire them up to a resistor box, correct? I would wire the ground side of each of the new injector to the two YEL/BLK wires that were previously the ground side of the DPFI injectors?

    Thanks!

you need the obd2 ecu for that engine, obd0 is not going to work.

Hmm, I thought I would be able to make it all work using all obd0 electronics.

Ok, so you guys are saying that I can't use the obd2 injectors and that I should get a set from a 90-91 Teg and I should be all good? Is this what people do when they want to use a B20 engine?

i'm not sure but i think you should wire your car to obd1 and use a obd1 p75 94-95 integra ls ecu and obd1 injectors from a 92-95 integra ls. that is exactly what i have on my engine except mine is a b18a1 and i'm using a obd1 pr4 ecu, not the obd0 pr4. i'm gonna switch to a p75 ecu and use my same obd1 injectors i have now on a 95 b18b engine i just ordered since my old one burned oil.

trust me, it's not worth it to do all the obd2 ecu and electronix. it's just to much work and is the most difficult. do all the obd1 electronix and you will be running perfect.

Why are you going to change the ECU?

There are plenty of ways to get around that. I certainly would not go through the trouble of swapping a 1990 Civic to run on OBD2 electronics. A much better solution would be to get a conversion harness and run a chipped and tuned OBD1 ECU...

Well, I finally got things sorted. I'm not 100% sure what the problem was. I just bought another harness and started the wiring all over. It's up and running with obd0 electronics and with the 96 (obd2) injectors. Thanks for the help though, I'm sure I'll need more in the future!

On a ef b18b swap is it possible to rip out the whole obd2 harness and hook it all up in my EF as obd2?
