power steering on cx

i have a b20b with a power steering and a civic cx with no power steering, is it possible to just take off the pump and not have to worry about the pulley or what?? i've been searching for almost an hour now, and cant find anything...

Yes, you can just remove the PS pump and belt.

And loop the lines together on the rack.

His car doesn't have PS to begin with. No lines to loop.

ok thanks, yeah i judt didnt know if i could just take it off, or have to do something special since i dont have p/s anyways

I wish I had taken my PS stuff out when doing my last swap. rack and Pinion seems to be easier and I drove 10yrs with PS system but no pump....would have felt like PS after I switched it out lol
