im interested in how he gets the spring back on, if its not a lowering spring.
That method only works with lowering springs... sometimes, if its a long lowering spring, you'll need a friend to push down on the spring hat while you put the nut back on the shock rod...
Here are my quick step by step instructions...
Remove shock & spring assembly and place the bottom of it against a wall.
Place an impact gun with socket onto the sprin hat bolt.
Butt wheel & tire up against the impact gun.
Zap the bolt off... The spring recoil will be absorbed by the wheel/tire.
