Queston about my ls motor and tranny

    Wanted to know if type r pistons, valves, cams, cam gears would fit in my ls motor and would a stage three clutch for a type r would fit my ls tranny

    pistons.. sorta... will fit the bore but the won't fit your rods. Aftermarket rods will work.
    cam gears, yes, but pointless... it's the same non adjustable thing as what you have
    valves, cams, no
    some do, most don't. generally, b16/itr stuff swaps, and ls/gsr stuff swaps. so, probably not.

    An old thread here said b16 pistons will work on the LS and raise compression.

    Are B16 pistons the same thing as Type R pistons? What's that? No? Okay then...

    Pick up the Civic SiR pistons out of the b16.. will raise the compression to a comfortable increase!
    Thats what im pushing in my set up... sitting at 11.5:1 compression on 210hp.

    ya that was proly me but you have to got the 1.8l rods and get them press in for it to work
