Rebuilding D16Z6 Botom end But what to use

I gave up the idea of chaging my D16z6 for a D15b2 botom end. I took apart the D16z6 and its still got life left in it, we honed the block and its perfect, it would just need a new set of piston's and rings. My question is has anyone ever tired combining different piston's from other D-series engines to try to up the comp ratio and get more power. Maybe ZC piston or something??? D16A1 ?????

Im just wating to get my zc back from the shop. If you get a set make sure you get some new rings with them. It took me a min to find a good set!
