I am newer to the whole turbo setup. I was going to do a supercharger until i found out that they don't give as much, Bang For the Buck. What is the list of nessessities in buying a turbo kit. What is better, The Rev Hard kit, or the Drag Kit. I have found them both for the same cost of 2999. but I don't know which is better. I don't want to go insanely fast but I want something to lively up the B16 I got. they are becoming to standard and I am sick of being to close with the V8 "hotrods". I want to embarse them and make them think twice. I want to know what is needed . BOV,wastegate,.... if you guys could plz, help.

the drag manifold sucks.
the revhard is a little better.
the inlinepro is the way to go for log-style, but you won't get a full kit out of it.

list?

mani
downpipe
turbo
intercooler
piping
couplings
wastegate
boost controller if you want more boost than the WG spring offers
blow off valve
oil feed/return lines
larger (3") exhaust
some kind of intake/filter for turbo for street use
1 of the following:
  • 12:1 fmu, missing link
  • 440-450cc injectors, vafc/safc to run the hack
  • standalone (hondata, aem ems, haltec, etc) + larger injectors sized to application
gauges to monitor (egt, oil pressure, boost)

have a look at this site for a basic setup: http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html
