reverse lights wont work

the fuse isnt blown for the brake lights/reverse lights, but my brakes lights and rear tail running lights work, but when i put the car in reverse the lights wont come on. wiring looks fine.

i was wondering if there is a switch on the trans, if so where is it?

car is 5 speed, but my shifter is worn out, could that be the problem?

any suggestions would help. Thanks for your time.

sry the fuse is not for the brake lights, mb, its fuse #1 for turn signals/back-up lights. but my turn signals ARE working. and i tested the bulbs, they work fine. even bought a replacement set just incase.

guessing your reverse switch went out.. .. its attached to the tranny next to the VSS
