^that is a pic of the WRX but the Legacy is getting a similar grill...complete and utter ass... oh and I forgot, they are only releasing the the GT Limited's... I just want a GT, I don't want to pay that extra 2k for leather that I absolutely hate.

EDIT:I was doing some research, maybe the Legacy isn't getting that horrible grill after all :) but they aren't offering just the GT :cry: I don't need leather and Navigation, although I would pay extra to get the Navi since it's in option in the GT's but I don't see myself paying $2,300 for leather that I do NOT like or want.

Just so you all know, the front grill design on the STi/WRX is supposed to mimic the look of an airplane from the front, you can buy a grill for $150 or so that eliminates the airplane design and looks like the '05 if you so desire. This is the information that my friend with a '06 WRB STi and Gold BBS's received when he ordered his car from the dealer, I'm unsure if the dealer meant it was a dealer option or simply the fact that the grill can easily be changed with an aftermarket - then again he was probably kissing my friends ass because he had to wait for the only WRB w/ Gold BBS's fully loaded on the east coast and he had his shipped directly over with 0 miles.

They'll fly your ass over to Gothenburg, where you can watch your car be built, I think that there's something like 60 (don't quote me on it, but the # may even be more) different combinations (interior, trim, wheels, steering wheel, etc.) that you can fully personalize your own car. They'll put you up in a hotel, rental car, etc. and you'll STILL save $$ on your purchase. Volvo seriously hooks you up. When I get rich, I just might do that....
 
that would be cool. there are like 5 or 6 S40s on the lot at beal parkway. i dont have the info for a lot of em, but i can guarentee there is at least one that isnt red.

So don't buy one unless it's black. Red S40's are pretty sexy though. I don't think I'll EVER buy another red car though.
 
yeah im just test driving it to finally get behind the wheel of one, if i like it ill tell him to find me a black one. theres other colors i really wouldnt mind, but ideally i WANT black.
 
well all i have to say is

im completely 100% in love with this car. after seeing it in person the red is just fucking amazing. it drives very smooth and responsive. the shifting is very precise and grabs quickly. i didnt give it too much hell, but i could feel the car wanting to go all out. my only complaint is the throw on the shifter is pretty long, of course coming from the short throw in my del sol every car ive driven feels that way.

filled out all the paperwork, on monday they will start looking for a lender and tell me how much i have to put down.

its the last 05 on the lot so im getting a 3k discount on the car. sport package, dynamic trim package, loaded with options. 5 yr 45k mile warranty and 3 years of free maintanence. after all fees and taxes its 29175 out the door.

now i just have to get my 2nd w2 in and sell my car. i put a deposit down for them to hold the car so now its in the back with a hold sign on it. if they find a lender then i bring in the cash and the car is mine.

soo.... anyone wanna buy a delsol in florida? :mrgreen:

take a whole lotta pics when you get it, especially of the inside. the interior of a car almost matters more to me than the outside lol. This is one car that is on my list of possible future cars.
 
i was honestly way more impressed with the car then i thought i would be. i mean, after driving it and sitting in it for a while i was getting giddy lol

i meant to snaps ome pics with the phone, but i forgot all about it. if im in gods favor and happen to get the car ill borrow a cam for some good pics. all the pics i saw on the net really didnt do the car justice.
 
Yeah, I saw my first red one the other day. The red t5 looked sick, it was actually the first T5 I had seen on the road.

My friend's parents bought a silver s40 when they first got remodeled but it doesn't look nearly as good as the one I saw on the road.
 
well good news and bad news

good news - found a lender that approved me

bad news - wants a 12k dp, i was coming with 8-10k

i really dont understand how some people can get approved with no downpayment. my credit is like 630 with no judgements or charge offs or major delinquencies on my account.
my income is only like 1200/month, but my fiance is cosigning and hers is like 3500/month. our combined income to debt ratio is pretty ridiculous. currently my money is 100% spending cash.
guess ill try and go to my bank tomorrow and see if they can do better. if not then ill just have to wait another year :cry:

im depressed now :wall:
