should i build my internals for turbo?

if i install turbo in to my d16y8.would u suggest i build my motor first or just install the turbo.need some smart advices here?

i would just slap a FI kit on it and tune.... it will blow, but a d block is cheap and easy to replace.


but blanco has a great point, what hp are you looking for?

under 300hp, turbo it...over 300hp, build it.
