let the creativity flow yall

2002-03 Subaru Impreza WRX, 5.4 seconds.

probably around 15-18 grand for a good used one if you can find it.

good enough? that'd be my first choice.

motorcycle.

$500-$12k easy 0-60 in under 6 seconds

ok, i'm retarded. lol

how about shifter cart? bike engine, plus fab, = like .... calll it 3k.

assuming 1k for stolen bike or legitamate engine. and call it 2k to build the thing(that number is very high)

there you go, 4 wheels, 0-60 in well under 6 seconds.

well there's a start!

but I guess I was looking for some unique ideas - i mean, I could just go buy an Evo MR or an STi, or an '05 Mustang, but there's not much unique about all that.

here, i'll throw out an example

Buy a '75 CVCC hatch - less than $1000, maybe free!
Strip and lighten the ole CVCC - free!
Buy such and such engine model - $2000
Buy viscous limited slip for such and such drivetrain - $1200 or maybe more
Buy light rims and some good Kumho rubber - $1200
Try desperately to fit such and such engine in the tiny little F'er - Lots of time and effort or maybe $2500
Fix her up and paint her - $1000

Total - like $8500
Having the only pre-80's 4 banger under 5.5 0-60 in your state = priceless

just an example..... stuff that's whacky and odd, that makes a good sleeper, but still will get those 'badass car' comments, ya know?

89 5.0 foxbody - 2000
351W - 3000?
150 shot N20 - 200ish?

5200 for high 12s right there. (not sure on the exact prices)

hey not bad.... plenty of other parts for the 5.0 too.

keep em comin'

*takes notes*

1998 LS1 Camaro Z28/Trans Am 6 speed - 9500-12500 depending on area
150 shot n20 200ish?

You're in the upper 12s right here if you can launch.

3.73 gears (over the 3.42s) 200-300
tires -500ish...

... now you're well into the 12s... maybe a 3 second 0-60. :p

10k-13k total spent.

LS1=cheap to make fuggin fast.

98 LS1 should do 0-60 in under 6 seconds anyways. and i know the 02 transam with an auto ran a 13.2 so with a 150 its good into the 12's

but yea, thats a cheap way too. lol. helly, a 5 liter fox bosy was a good idea. even keepin the 5L. you can pick up a modded one for <4k and easily do under 6 second 0-60.

Sounds like a plan that I keep hearing over and over again... and one that I need to start working on for myself just to freak people out. :)

i say you buy an early honda like the first model that looks like the old mini that had a 500cc motorcycle engine in it someone is bound to have onw somewhere for a few hundred then get a junked cbr 900 for a 1000 and some good tires and you are gone. id say whole thing if your doing most of the work you could get away with it for under 4000.

you could go to the clasic car shows enter it and even win some money back. plus u get those bad ass car coments from old caddy owners and trew honda lovers. theres ur pre 80s beast
