Swap question

I have a 97 dx hatch. I'm putting a obd1 gsr motor in. I'm using my stock dx harness. I have the vtec and knock sensor done.

The only problem i have is the distributor plugs don't match up. Does anybody know which wires to match up so I can splice them. Thanks

you would need a obd1 dizzy, obd1 dizzy plugs from a obd1 harness and a obd2 connector for the dizzy...connect the obd2 connector to the obd1 dizzy plug...all the wires should match up

Yea but the color codes on the wires don't match up on each harness

ok to b sure about the colour /wiring there is a picture on this forum called OBD2 TO OBD1 read
it there is also a picture of the wiiring of both obd1 and obd2
look for obd2 to obd1 (title) its just a couple of topics below yours

I tried that diagram and it didnt work plus I had an extra wire.
If anyone has the wiring diagrams oe can give me the color codes for the distributor off a 97 civic dx non-vtec and a 95 gsrvtec
