Swapping a 99' 1.6l to a 97 Civic HX

I have a 97 Civic HX with a 1.6l and AT.
motor is cracked and head is warped. This isnt a performance swap, someone gave me the car. I found a 99' 1.6l and AT for super cheap.
I know the motor will fit, but will the linkage and Wiring Harnesses fit?
My main ECU harness is the double set on the driver side.
Any info or tech on this swap is greatly appreciated

What model is the new engine from?

you can just use your original wiring harness and ecu. you can just sell the AT transmission, all you need is the engine itself.


this should be one easy swap.

I notice the Air assembly is different, Im wondering what custom work will need to be done.
