I dont' know how to get winmx to work. anyone have a crash course on how/where to find the good stuff with winmx?

go to the search field and type in the song you are looking for and hit either enter or search. it will list the songs and the people that have em along with bit rate, number of users, connection and length of song. double click the one you want and it will start to download. to see how far along along the song is coming, click on the Transfer button and it till take you to that screen. to go and search some more, hit Search.

thats the absolute basics...if you have any more questions, feel free to IM me: PimpadelicEGT is my AIM name.

I have the same problems when I try to download alot of new music. Older shit does not have a problem but I think it has to do with the new anti copy software that the record companys are putting on the new cds. What it does is when you pop it in a computer, It has a huge script of bogus codes and computers read Computer code before music files, thus it gets hooked up on the code and then never reads the songs. One way to stop this is that the code is on the outward part of the cd, normally you can see that there is a little gap then more writing. Place a stick not over it (tear off the excess, make sure it sticks good) then see if it plays. If it does with no problem, Do a more permant thing and use a permant marker and fuck up the code on the outside

Before you all get your panties wadded up chill out....its not that important....P2P file sharing will never die....the record companies have raped the consumer for far too long an its time for us to give them a taste of their own medicine. I'm sorry i forgot to Quote SIR KID an use the :whocares: lol post on that.....so don't go an pick on someone for something so stupid......lol......"can't we all just get along"<-Rodney King

an yeah i know i f*cked up the quotes i don't care enough to put the time in to get it right

i have kazaa lite and it works fine, some files are gay, but not every one is like that. fuck kazaa, kazaa lite owns for me right now. im gonna check out winmx though. can you download movies, documents, pics, and software with winmx or just music?

im also using kazaa lite and it only happens to a few songs for me... mainly the songs that have yet to be fully released by the record companies but ehhh, i have cable so i just DL multiple files at the same time
