Since the lsvtec/turbo is all hybrid , could someone give me an idea of
what temperature thermostat should be used. Im currently not running
one at all , and having a little trouble making any temperature at all
during our cold weather.
thanks
I know your problem is already solved, but I would ALWAYS run a thermostat in a vehicle. There are certain components that work at certain temperature ranges...
Thats not advisable. Even though its' turbocharged the engine is built to run at max efficiency at a set temperature, lowering that temp will not keep the car as efficient.
my statement was intended to be another suitable option, I ran a lower temp thermostat for over a year in florida humidity, and had no problems, ran just fine if not a little better.
