Has anybody tried to use a top mount intercooler like subaru does ? I'm not sure why you would want to do this, maybe to hide it, keep it a sleeper. Just wondering ?? Would it be tough ?

if you want a sleeper look, consider a air/water, or an eclipse style side mount

but the subaru actually has a good purpose, being they are rally cars, the car uses hood scoops which means theres a less likely chance of dirt and rocks messing up the intercooler, but still would be pointless on other cars because most road cars suck dont want air going down; which may cause lift.

add the rsx to that. i just saw a top mounted (beside the engine) in a rsx in SSC magazine.

Ah, I see now. I guess I just automatically assume that engines go in the front of the car. Well, thanks for clearing that up. Tomorrow, I start work on my spoiler mounted intercooler, for maximum airflow.
