I have a friend that has a 01 Civic Ex auto. The check engine light comes on and it gives a P0122 error code, a pedal/tps low input sensor. I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the sensor or does the pcm have to be tested? Thanks in advance. :)

If i remember right that is the black sensor that sits right on top of the throttle body right by where the intake mounts up at. You can also tell what it is by looking across the motor it is like one of the highest points cause tps sensors always get busted when shipping motors cause of where they are. To replace it you should just have to unplug it and there is like two screws to take out. Replace and your done.

the one you are talking about is the MAP lswhitecivic, the tps is the one near the firewall, on the TB, to the side. Three wire sensor. bolt on process.
