trying to figure out which b18 i have

i have a b18a from idk what year i know the previous owner had it set up for ls vtec by the vlave on the back of the block but anyways this is the serial on the block h305139 it also says y8 on the tranny dont know if the tells what kinda tranny it is ???

well if its a b18a its 90-93

yea but my cars obd1 its a 95 civic and i dont want to do the converston if its a 90-91 motor which would be obd0

b18a = 90-93 integra.

lsvtec means he probably put a b16 or a gsr head on it. look for the stamp on the head to find out if its an lsvtec.

im just trying to make sure i dont waste my time doing the swap and having the motor be the b18a obd 0 motor but im guessing its tthe obd1 motor im not sure i need help still

does it have a vtec head on it ? if so you go by that not the motor

no the head is off the motor and its just the b18a stock head like i stated above theres got to be away to idenfy what year block that is by the serial number

just doing the stock head because i dont want to go to headache of doing all the vtechwiring for and shit for the vtec plus i already have the stock head no vtec my goals r simple im doing the auto to manual conversion along with the swap and boosting the b18 non vtec trying to get 250-280whp

you can check the year that the head was manufactured. Its right above the header
