for a dd turboed accord 96 with 440cc's injectors and boosted at 7 - 8 psi will the apexi safc be good for engine management?

one of the reasons why you shouldnt is because you can not manipulate the ignition settings ect....
you can add fuel but the ignition timing would be the same + your ecu is not meant to read boost so it wouldnt like boost after 9psi i think. the map sensor only reads a little boost.

The ignition timing would NOT be the same. The timing would change to whatever position / cell the engine is operating in from the SAFC adjustments. It does change, but you can't directly control it.
