Turbo's?

how do you know how much psi can be run by any given turbo? can it be read from a product guide or what??? i just need to know how to figure out how much psi a turbo can put out.... for example how much psi will this turbo put out for a psi rating... http://hksusa.com/products/?id=707

there is no such thing.
psi means jack shit.

psi is the measure of air pressure that is NOT making it into the chambers for cumbustion. its read in the intake manifold @ the map sensor most likely...

a motor that can comsume a butt load of air due to free flowing head, huge combustion chamber, and so forth will see much more power, and at the same time, a lower psi.

simple example:
same turbos, same motor...

car A has complete head work- ported to all hell, cc'ed combustion chambers, oversized valves, ported TB and IM, etc..
car B is a stock head

car A makes 200 whp @ 10 psi
car B makes 200 whp @ 14 psi

same turbo, same motor, different breathing properties.

i would suggest contacitng the manufacture turbonetics rates a standard issue t3t4 hybrid turbo to be rated at a max of 30 psi
