Seriously though, you could buy the engine for $400, sell it to an American for $3000 and ship it for $1500 (FedEx says about $900, you you would actually be selling the engine for $3600, which is still a steal for a normally $5k engine), and have all that money to spend on a turbo LS =]

buying honda motors and selling them in us is agood idea, but its not
business wise to send just one motor. as of today i know of 8 b-series
motors i can buy.but i am looking into a full container load 40 motors.
i can collect them then & ship over to us.

how much do u guys think these motors cost in japan $700 u get a front
half cut car.(97 integra sir complete to front seats).demand in the USA sets
the price. i will be very happy to help out all honda lovers but its not that
easy.u will never know i might collect all the b-series motors i can find
and ship them to US.u will be the first to know.

damn anyone know japanese and would like to go on a road trip. Pay like less than 500 for a gsr swap, send it to the Us for like 1k shipping, and like 800 for the plane tickets. 2300 for a gsr swap, yes please

are all JDM B18C engines from ITR's or do they have a GSR model in japan?

i think pre 95 sir-g & 96 up sir for integra.gsr is not a car they know in japan.

you can get the motors in Japan for pretty cheap sometimes. that is sometimes. the b18c(gsr) arent that popular. as for a complete front clip, taht would be a little more difficult. you would have to be pulling together alot of clips together to get $400 clips. and you are right its not that easy to fill up a 40ft container and ship it to the states  its not cheap

thats true chris. The junk yards here in jordan have two or more people
all year round in japan parting cars and filling up containers.Thats
how they get good prices & good cars.
