what does the fmu do that is so bad for the car?...i have seen alot of turbo setups using injectors or an fmu...the fmu came with my kit so i'm using it for now

FMU's were invented for carberators.

they raise rail pressure based on boost pressure, ie 12:1 (12 more psi of fuel pressure per psi of boost).

the problem is that, A, its not accurate, B, you're stock at X fuel per Y psi, and C, after about 6 or 7 psi, you have 140 psi of rail pressure...

in the end of all things, pressure is NOT volume.

what about injectors...do they create that volume to make up for that high pressure...i'm sorry kinda new at the turbo thing...knew really only how to set one up and what was needed(or what i was told i needed)
