we have swaped in '94 civic coupe b16a engine. Stock engine was d15b7. stock p06 ecu i've swaped to p28 ecu. wrote p30 bin with switched of: knock sensor, VTP, injector test, eld and etc. wired wire from A4 ecu pin to a vtec solenoid. if i power it directly from battery + - vtec work, but ecu dont want to engage vtec (i've wired a bulb inline to vtec solenoid to look if ecu trying engage vtec.) ecu chiped with a Crome. vtec set at 4k..... no CELs. i've used another 100% working P28 - same result. why it dont want work?

you need oil pressure to activate VTEC as well. Make sure your oil pressure sensor isn't off, or unplugged.
