ok so i swapped everything in. i had a d16y7 in my 97 hatch. i swapped to an 2000 d16y8. well in doing so i had problems with it starting. so i noticed the thermostat housing ground wasnt attached. so i did that and the car starts. well the problem now is that the car idles high and the CEL stays on. now i didnt wire the knock sensor or the vtec, but i doubt thats the problem here. i can give it hardly any pressure on the gas pedal and itll climb, but wont go pass about 2000 rpms. if i give it more than a slight touch it dies. oh and after it climbs to around 1000-2000rpms with me giving it gas, if i let off the pedal the car will die. what could this be from? also i dont know what hoses hook into the intake manifold. there are 2 nipples on the intake manifold, one goes to the pcv valve, and below that there is another...where do i connect to/from?
