what fuel pressure should run with 720cc injectors

what up,my t3/t4 rebuilt 8.9:1 h22a engine has 720 cc injectors.the current ecu has a chipped crome pro base map.the current boost is 10lbs.after i get it dynoed i will turn up the boost to 15lbs.what fuel pressure should i run with the 720cc injectors until car goes on the dyno for tuning??

If you go to rc-engineering's website Racing Fuel Injectors - RC Engineering (C) 2005. , they have a calculator that you can use to help determine that. Great tool!

43 PSI, which is what most injectors are flow rated at. If you run anything higher or lower than what they are tested at then you will have to modify your global fuel percentage to compensate using the equation

Percentage = [old injector size]/[(new injector size)(sqrt{new pressure/old pressure})] - 1

running 10lbs on a basemap is asking for trouble. its probbaly WAY off.


anyway, there's really no need to adjust your fuel pressure at all. i ran 850's with the stock honda fpr.

I'd run it a tad rich until you can get it tuned.
That is to say, only run that base map for the drive over to the tuners dyno.
