so far all i can find is that its just the head. if this is so can i just change the head for one from a DX and gain those extra 20hp to the flywheel? Also if it is so can i use a newer head like from a 92+? And would i have to use the timing belt from the new head or can i keep the old one?
Also are the STD and DX ecu the same?

dont waste your time, just do the MPFI swap and gain 40hp,
with the MPFi swap done swapping in another engine is ten times easier

i will do that eventually. i will also be going OBD1 with a Z6. But for now i just wanna do this.

Does anyone know any answer to my few questions. i've tried searching but no luck.

OH! big question Can i drop a 16V head on the block. meaning u know cuz of the pistons are they they tha same as the DX will they clear the extra 2 valves?
 
dont go with my word on this one, but i'm pretty sure the pistons won't clear the extra valves.
