why girls shouldn't be allowed to mess with expensive things:

moving in my new crib last night.. my girl puts my pc up against the computer desk flat.. then proceeds to stack on of my other box's on top of that and the other one next to it "to conserve space"

well needless to say i start doing some graphic work and wam shut down im like what the fuck i know my shit didn't just die.

when i unstack the box's i realize hey i bet this mofo is gotta be hotter than hell (my fault for not seeing what she did) sure enough the power supply was litterally a red tint "@#&($^!!#!#(*)"

well i spent the next 2 hours pulling everything outta my box and trying to get it into another just to find out when i get it all hooked up the other box is Pentium specific (on off plugs wouldn't go on) "@(*#&!&!@($"

so put everything back into the original box and "nigga riggin" a new and physically smaller in size width wise power supply in the box.

Currently i have one screw and a audio line for a sound card holding the PS in place. Thankfully i didn't lose my cool (pun) but she wants to buy me a new case now 10 bay water cooled :-D
 
F the computer, have her buy you something that will make your car go faster. obviously your computer works well enough to post on here and that's all that matters... right?

im on my computer at work.. and im a master at the hardware arts you should see how i have this thing rigged lol
 
it's even better that you live with her because if you dump her you can charge her more for rent (assuming you own the place)
I gave up on computers long ago, they aren't fun enough, they are just for porno and getting repair/swap/tuning advice

tell her to to start pulling her weight around your place or you'll replace her with a newer model :lol:

If you watercool, make sure you get Innovatek.

Get a Lian Li PC-70 case (10 bay) and with the straigh class of the Innovatek watercooling.. you'd be big pimpin :p
 
she probably tried to overheat your computer on purpose so that you would spend more time with her instead of searching for anime porn (no offense if you are into that :unsure: )
 
I got the Lian Li PC-50 case I think... I LOVE my pc. ;)

Water cooling?! We dun' need no stinkin' water cooling! :p

i've seen mikes setup. if i water cool thats the way im going.. but i dont overclock and i dont do extreme video rendering.. not much to really warrant water

Eh, I've killed enough AMD chips to want to stay away for my main system. For everything else that doesn't need to be dead on reliable all the time, I'll use AMD chips and save some money.

But water + computer = :) :) :) :) :)
