If you saw her stackin em you should have moved them and not just prayed that she knew what she was doing.

I've got an AMD at home. It's plenty fast enough for me. Never seen it lag in any games I've tried... I need a better vid card, and an actual sound CARD< not the internal BS, and my PC should be about all I'll need for the next 2-3 years, HOPEFULLY.

I play Warcraft III on 1600x1200x32, everything on maximum, and never had problems.

WD 80gb, 7200 RPM, 8mb cache HDD
Sony 48x24x28 CDRW
Sony 16x DVD-ROM (Wish I had a DVD Writer for all my MP3 backups)

you think with my superior computer knowledge i would have let it stay like that if i realized she did it? lol

Paint the drives, or machine aluminum pieces to go over them so they mesh with the case. It's not hard.
