During the second practice session of the day on Sunday, I was tagging along right behind a few friends of mine who've been racing for a couplea years - which was really stupid considering I'd never been on this particular track before and I didn't know the track at all - and came in way too hot into a really sharp right-hander. I went wide, started to correct it, and glanced at the wall and target fixated and ran off. I was heading straight for the wall, and had the choice of either slamming into the wall at full speed or grabbing my brakes and dumping the bike, so I grabbed the brakes. The front wheel tucked and threw me off the bike, and I tumbled several times and smacked my head pretty good. I banged up my neck and my shoulder, and got a concussion. The bike isn't TOO bad, it bent the right clipon, broke the right rearset, dinged the frame, and trashed the plastics. The bike's also running like shit now, I haven't had a chance to figure out why. Poor 636
It sucks the most, because I spent Friday and Saturday night repairing the fairings and repainting them - so they hadn't even been on there for 3 days before I trashed them
Here's a few pictures from the last trackday, with the old paintjob:
